Yogurt YUMMY,

Like any other food, put it in your food plan its basically a carb as it is a milk product. either go for the unsweetened, plain, and low fat and doctor it up with some sliced berries and a bit of splenda if you need.

Or, by some of the great splenda yogurts that are out there, THE SOURCE yogurt is great about 50 Cals and 9g of carbs. Comes in a vareity of flavours including a chocolate cherry.

Could be a Canadian Product, Astro also makes sugar free yogurt through I find it a bit chalky for some reason, there is also couple other brands, head to the grocer I am sure they have plenty.

Hi,

In my neck of the woods we have Fry's Food Stores but they are owned by Krogers. They sell a Kroger Brand yogurt called "Carb Master". It only has 3-4 carbs and about 80 calories. I have found only 3 flavors, strawberry, peach and vanilla. I love all three and I eat it everyday. I never ate yogurt before I was diagnosed but now I love it. This brand is very reasonably priced!

I used to have to go to the health food store to get this Kefir (milky yogurt-like drink or pourable sauce-like addition to salads or potatoes), but now most groceries carry it. Comes in a lot of different flavors, but I just get the plain -- nonfat version. Supposed to have many health benefits and also be okay for those who are lactose-intolerant. Sip it or pour it -- it's delicious!

I can't, but then to me it tastes like sour milk.

I am a newbie too - and yogurt was one of my top priority diet concerns...I LOVE my fruit smoothie in the morning...so I found "Dannon Light 'n Fit, Sugar & Carb control" containers in Stop 'n Shop! They come in 4 oz. containers, several flavors (strawberry, vanilla & peach...maybe more)& cost about $5 for a 4-pack!
Hooray for yogurt!
